Well, everyone knows about the particularly German inflection of the Palantir co-founders, and some former members of the CCRU are employed in tech these days.<p>I can't help but see his philosophy as, in one way or another, the groundwork of our contemporary political era, where there is (supposedly) no bottom of capitalist production.<p>It is, in the end, a very Kantian system, insofar as its only within secure borders that something Thing-like can come about. And the Thing, which comes from nowhere, which goes beyond mere understanding, violently pushes itself into the world, as the only aim of politics--via technology.<p>I don't expect many users here to be familiar with him, but I know there are some. I'm not on board with his politics, but I also have not yet read any substantial criticisms of his work, and would be happy to hear some from you all.
