Reasonably senior level IC (Principal / Senior Staff) for several years at a big company (think FAANG). Recently there have been several priority shifts percolating from top down in a very frothy and heterogenous manner. Re-orgs and key people departing are not surprising.<p>Looking at it in one way - a sinking ship. Looking at it in another way - a large ship pivoting and shedding parts of it.<p>For those who have been in big orgs and have survived or even thrived org and priority changes that are pretty sweeping, what are your tips and tricks?
