Going to Mars is so 2010. Mars is too close from the Sun anyway.<p>Better start to colonize the kuiper belt with super mega structures, we can start with AI drones mining its resources way before our arrival.<p>:P

This fly-and-roll robot sounds interesting, but I wonder how effective it would actually be on Mars. The thin atmosphere is definitely a major challenge for the flying mechanism.
