I know many of us have side projects that we know are never going to garner interest for acquisitions. They might be projects we built for learning or just hobbies.<p>But I'm wondering how many of you own a viable money-making venture that you don't ever intend to sell? That is, one that's currently paying the bills or better.<p>Of course, everyone has their price, but in general, do you currently run a business that you have no exit plan for and would not sell unless the price was exorbitant?
Yes. Frankly, I don't think anyone - let alone FAANG - would want to buy it, no matter how profitable it gets, because the business is inextricably tied to my persona.
