I'm an Indonesian working here and currently looking for a new remote job. The job market, especially for remote roles, is quite limited, and even when I find one, the salary expectations often don't match. So now, I'm applying to companies overseas. But man, most of the remote positions I find online aren’t truly "work from anywhere" they require you to be in a specific timezone or at least within overlapping hours.<p>Been throwing applications, almost 50 now, and its not just mindless sending CV, I checked the company, what are the products and what value I can bring to them and present it in a nicely written introduction letter. Yet, not a single interview landed, feels my 10+ years software engineering experiences are just meaningless.
