What Causes Air Pollution to Spike in Springtime? (UK)

I noticed this huge pollution spike a week ago in London and I was puzzled what may have caused it.<p>Seemingly ammonia from Dutch farms, I believe there has been a lot of protest from Dutch farmers about having to reduce ammonia pollution.
