China delays approval of BYD's Mexico plant amid fears tech could leak to US

If they have this fear, it is because they have been exploiting the same thing from plants for US and European companies that operate in China

It doesn’t seem like this is a serious concern. Hiding tech that exists in a mass market product doesn’t seem feasible.
