Neither satire nor you being out-of-touch.<p>Sure, it <i>could</i> be satire, given there's always an overlap between satirists and their subjects, but that's because humans sincerely say a lot of stuff.<p>But I think this is just chasing the zeitgeist — I've seen a lot of that over the years.
