In a nextweb article recently featured here in HN[1], Italian entrepreneur Stefano Bernardi recommends "cloning" startups that are:
1)Highly Regulated
2)Deeply Local
3)E-commerce
or
4)B2B
He mentions Stripe as the primary example of a company that is worth cloning in foreign markets. What other specific examples of companies in which the founders will get rich/have a lot of impact if they successfully clone in their home countries? (assuming they have all the relevant connections in the country).
Also, "cloning" startups in foreign markets sounds immoral, but [2] presents a good argument as to why it may not be that bad.
[1] http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4091462
