I think Ente is a great service and fills a crucial role in being a photo app you don't have to self-host yourself if you're looking to distance yourself from big tech, like Google Photos.<p>While they do offer an option to self-host, it's nice to see a small business operating from a mindset of privacy while striving to be just as usable as the big tech alternatives.
