Licked some dust from a bag of magic mushrooms years ago, couldn't look at a computer for eight hours.
Had an experience with LSD in the 1990s that made it clear that it was an impairment more than an enhancement, so far as I know, it disables the function of the medial raphe nucleus
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Median_raphe_nucleus
which unleashes all sorts of effects, might even contribute to creativity and interesting experiences but won't improve performance at most tasks while tripping. Lately it is not so fun for me because it makes me aware of all the sensors in my digestive track so I feel like I've been turned inside out. There was that time I laid down to watch two snakes having sex and then found I had four ticks attached to me when I got to the house.

So hallucinating LLM is not enough, now the "programmer" who uses it for "coding" has to hallucinate, too.

If I had a trophy for "Most HN Question" then I would award it to you, my friend.
