I maintain the idea that we should shift to monthly shifts in time. Six up and six down by 10 minutes. Wasn&#x27;t exactly tenable for a long time, as that was a lot of clocks to change. Modern times have most people not even realizing that their phones and such updated last night. Just the odd &quot;why is the oven wrong this time?&quot; Followed usually by &quot;why do we even have a dumb clock on the oven?&quot;<p>My argument remains that this gets closer to how sundials worked, where the natural shift in the amount of sun you get in the day automatically shifted people&#x27;s behaviors. With the major grant that I did not appreciate how much the sun changes throughout the year until I lived further north.<p>I also fully grant that this has a snow ball&#x27;s chance in hell.
