Alfalfa Hay farmer here. The Guardian posts ridiculous clickbait garbage like this all the time. Unless all of you want to leave your desk jobs and come help me stack hay by hand, the only way to bring in the 2,500 tons that I did this year is with swathers, tractors pulling balers, and telehandler and trucks to bring it to the stack yard.
