Despite the open source label it apparently only targets closed source software, which is a shame. With improved system level drivers, Chinese factories will surely mass produce them cheaply, and we can all use them for Blender. Cool project from an electronics perspective. Gave it an architect, who also didn't take to it. I picked it up and appreciated it but recall the default translation speeds to have been irritatingly constrained relative to mouse scroll wheels. I think if you're getting in to 3D work, it's good to pick up 6DoF because it will save you a lot of motion over a career. But for those already down the rabbit hole the difficulties learning a new muscle memory are apparently often too high.
