Is the title slightly misleading?<p>The abstract concludes with:<p><pre><code> > "On the other hand, our results show that it is just impossible that this Universe is simulated by a universe sharing the same properties, regardless of technological advancements of the far future."

It seems reasonable that the energy and computation requirements to simulate our universe couldn't be done in an equivalent universe.<p>But isn't the assumption that the "encapsulating system" must inherently be more "powerful" than our own, in the same way that computer systems running simulations function?
