For me, a huge advantage over hiss is that you can choose which notifications you see. No more 'contact has come online' from skype.

Is there any way to forward the app's icon? Without that visual bit, it kinda ruins it for me.

Can someone explain how the Notification Center would be useful for someone who isn't in the iEcosystem? I use gmail and choose Android but live on a Mac. It seems to serve me only to clutter my toolbar. Am I missing something?

How exactly do you install this? I've downloaded the archive, unzipped it, and gone through the folder, but I don't see what <i>specific</i> file I have to open (or how). Thanks, and sorry for the n00bish question!

FYI: I just updated to v0.1.1<p>If the click action did not work for you this should fix it.

Very nice. Much smoother than Hiss (which won't play with growlnotify).
