Google's New Favicon

If this "news" makes frontpage, it's time for me to look for a new Hacker News.

I miss the logo with the capital G and colored lines around it. Reminds me of one of those wooden letter blocks I played with when I was a kid.

I quite like it. I always found the old one to be a bit of a mess on the browser tab. It's never really looked good to me. Happy to see the change.

It has to be a coincidence, but it kind of looks like they updated the logo for Windows 8.

Does that mean the candy cane +1 buttons are being revamped too?

I prefer the old favicon. You know, the bright, colorful, cheerful one.

Major boring.
