To be clear, This publication is a theoretical model with the buzzword AI thrown in the abstract for clicks.<p>As far as I can tell, the individual level price discrimination isnt really included in their discussion. It isnt practical for a retailer to sell a lead loaded toy to one customer because they dont have a car, while offering and identical but safe toy to a rich customer with one.<p><a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;www.sciencedirect.com&#x2F;science&#x2F;article&#x2F;pii&#x2F;S0377221725000050?via%3Dihub" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;www.sciencedirect.com&#x2F;science&#x2F;article&#x2F;pii&#x2F;S037722172...</a>

Word choice matters. I prefer &quot;person&quot; or &quot;human&quot; rather than &quot;consumer&quot;. Sure, we consume to live, but consider other terms: eaters, drinkers, breathers, sleepers, ... okay, I see that context matters. When talking about money, we&#x27;re consumers. Still, something feels off about that.
