Much of what is wrong in current political discourse is the over use of non normative must. Therefore I argue there is little or no must here, there is only wish and may.Be careful what you wish for. It must be said, the outcome may be unexpected.Also, Vance's role is not to be the successor to the king. He's there like all VP to be blamed when the time is right.
