It's been accumulating more lava (many miles down) for the past half-ish century - but that is not cause for alarm.<p>Globally and long-term: This volcano is part of a volcanic complex which has done several VEI 8 eruptions. Though nothing that big in the past couple million years. Hopefully that trend will continue.
