I've just received an email in my Gmail account from Netflix confirming that my signup is complete. Except that I've never signed up for Netflix; in fact, Netflix isn't even available in my country. The email is SPF verified, so it's definitely from Netflix.<p>What really bothers me is that the confirmation email indicates that a VISA account has apparently been attached to this Netflix account. Ironically, the email contains a "Help Centre" link, which I cannot access because "Netflix is not available in your country yet". Even more annoyingly, the email also contains a "Mailing Preferences" link, which I also cannot log into since I don't actually have any login details.<p>Can anybody confirm whether Netflix sends out a confirmation email before actually creating a new account? Also, does anybody know of some way for me to remove myself from their system without having to log in first?
