Last night, I received an email from a VPS provider stating that an abuse complaint had been received for a virtual server I have hosted there. As a result, the specific virtual server was powered off and my account was locked, subject to further review.<p>I asked my provider to explain the process they take to verify abuse complaints. In the meantime, I thought I would reach out to the HN community to see what other providers (and users) thought about the process of dealing with abuse complaints.
