Come help us hack the Auto Industry - Dealer Sales

It's not often you'll find a job post on HN for a sales role, but we think every discipline has its hackers. As a Dealer Sales Executive at CarWoo!, you'll be responsible for selling our products to car dealerships.<p>You'll have to hack each dealership's org chart to win and be successful in this role.<p>Here's what you'll be challenged to do:<p>1. Find a way to get the potential customer on the phone. Dealers are inundated with phone calls and you have to figure out how to get them to spend a few minutes of their time with you. Good hackers (sales) will find a way.<p>2. Once you get them on the phone, quickly analyze if they are a sales target and triage them into your priority target list. Wasting time on targets who aren't willing or don't have a need to buy is like an endless while loop in software. You'll need to find the most optimized path to achieving success while avoiding endless while loops.<p>3. When you find a great sales target, help them find success selling cars using a new platform (we have a free version of our product). We find that our most successful sales people are also the most knowledgable about or product, have technical acumen and can earn the trust of our dealers by helping them find success using our products.<p>3. After you've won over the end user, find a way to sell the decision maker. No easy answer here, you'll have to navigate the org chart at each of your targets and find, convince and sell the decision maker.<p>4. Support your sold customers and ensure they are extremely happy with the product they purchased. You'll have some help here as we have a team of dedicated Performance Managers who manage the day to day success of our customers, but you'll be required to check in from time to time and make sure they have everything they need.<p>I call this hacking because good sales people can see the inefficiencies, weaknesses and opportunities in a system and find a way to use them to their advantage.<p>Requirements<p>* A willingness to try something new and challenge yourself to hack a different kind of system.<p>* Desire to be a part of an awesome culture, make good money and change an industry.<p>* Have a desire to overcome your insecurities and challenge yourself to get outside of your comfort zone.<p>* Desire to have part of your pay tied to your performance.
