This is the first public showing of my MVP, so its obviously not completely polished. I have been busy over the last couple of months beavering away to get this from concept to creation, and so far I am fairly pleased with the core workings of it.
As an avid web developer / geek / gamer / tech lover I find myself constantly finding projects or products I am interested in and want to follow. Some have social profiles, websites and blogs, but for the majority these are often left untapped in letting the public know about what they are working on. It becomes difficult and time consuming to follow so many different things manually, especially with the likes of kickstarter, indie developers, fast moving technology, and the current trend of innovation announcing awesome new things at a lightning pace.
Eventually these things get forgotten or fall into a mass of other saved links and rarely if ever get found again. I therefore tasked myself with creating a web service that would track those projects and then remind myself / the user about them at the appropriate times.
Thus, Hype Badger (http://www.hypebadger.com) was born
Initially I am looking for some feedback from the community, so ideally if you could let me know:
- what you think of the concept of the site / service
- what you like best
- what you like least
- what you think its missing
- if its a service you would / could use
TL;DR - A webapp / service that allows you to share, track, and discover upcoming projects, eg games, movies, tech, books, events, etc - http://www.hypebadger.com - Please give me precious feedback :)
