The ideal candidate is an engineer who is looking to transition from an engineering role into a product role with a marketing/business focus.<p>About You<p>- You’re passionate about analytics and using engineering to solve marketing problems.
- You have a strong understanding of existing online marketing channels.
- You have strong analytical ability. You're not afraid of diving into SQL, Excel, or the Ruby console to answer whatever question you might have.
- You are empathetic. You can put yourself in the users mindset. If you don't understand the user you dig into the data until you do.
- You have a strong product sense, you can easily place yourself in the user's mindset and make decisions accordingly.<p>Requirements:
* 2+ years of engineering experience.
* A passion for analytics and applying an engineering mindset to growth.
* Strong knowledge of existing online marketing channels.<p>Bonus
* Experience running online marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
* Product management experience.
