We are seeking a Sr. Developer who has a genuine interest in data security. As our first engineering hire, you will play a critical role in the growth of TrueVault. Our ideal candidate has 3 - 5 years of experience working at a security-focused company (e.g., Stripe, Braintree, Cloudflare, etc.). If you started programming in high school because you wanted to try out an idea, you are our ideal candidate. Not only are you an excellent hacker, you are also someone who sincerely enjoys the art of finding sophisticated and efficient ways of solving problems. You are someone who is constantly leveling-up your coding game by staying current through side-projects, asking/answering Stackoverflow questions or contributing to open source projects. If you take pride in your nerd cred, come join our team of talented techies.
What is TrueVault:
TrueVault is a HIPAA compliant backend-as-a-service. This is not a file-sharing and collaboration tool; TrueVault is a broader platform for all healthcare applications and services. Our customers are developers working on mobile apps, wearable devices and anything healthcare related. Healthcare is our beachhead. We envision TrueVault as the default database store for all secure data.
What you need to know:
TrueVault is a Python shop but we welcome developers with any background (as long as you are willing to pick up Python quickly). But much more important than the languages you know, you must have worked on a product or at a company where data security is the primary concern.
What we look for:
It's über important to us that we hire top-notch developers. Not just someone who can code, but someone who's curious and is always game to try new things. So when we review a resume, we place a lot of emphasis on extracurricular activities like hobby projects, Stackoverflow / GitHub contributions, and other things that show us you are all about technology. Now that you know what we are looking for, apply at your own risk :)
What you'll be doing:
Anything and everything. One of the pluses of working at TrueVault is that you'll never get pigeonholed in a particular area of our platform. You'll work on different parts of our platform prioritized by our customers.
Why TrueVault:
Because you want to work at a company that genuinely wants to build features people want. Because you know there are too many crappy products out there and you want to build something you’ll be proud of. Because you want to make a dent in the world. Join us.
This position is in SoMa, San Francisco.
To apply, go to: aHR0cHM6Ly9qb2JzLmxldmVyLmNvL3RydWV2YXVsdC85ZjJjYjcwNS1hYzgyLTQ3OTgtYjVjOS1jM2QyMjQwMjUzOGE/bGV2ZXItc291cmNlPUhO
