We (longaccess.com) are preparing for an update to our Terms and Conditions. We are looking for ways to make this and future updates more transparent to users, and help them track the changes.<p>One of the ideas on the table is to use GitHub: we could publish the terms as text files, tag major changes, let users see the diffs, etc.<p>What are the cons and pros of such an approach? Is anyone doing it already?<p>If you think it's a good idea, do you have any technical suggestions, related to tagging, commits, etc. (For example, would you tag a small change to fix typos?)
