I'm looking at buying a quadcopter for recreational purposes, but I'm completely new to the field, so I'm not sure where to start looking. I've looked at [1], which seems to suggest getting a cheap/basic model to learn how to fly a quadcopter, before upgrading to a nicer model (with cameras, etc).<p>What is HN's experience with basic model quadcopters? I'm not looking for a ton of features. A camera may be nice, but I'm happy to skip it.
