The claim of the uploader:
<i>"This file is in the public domain, because as the work of a non-human animal, it has no human author in whom copyright is vested."</i><p>So he doesn't claim that the photo is "Owned by Monkey".<p>On the other hand I do not think that he is right. I'm not a lawyer and I'm not too familiar with copyright laws but it's simply not only the work of a <i>"non-human animal"</i> (I'm yet to see a "human animal").
