This is awesome. Being colorblind, I find many available/popular themes hard to work with/not in my taste.<p>I feel this is something that should be an emacs-mode, though. You could then test your theme-to-be against your own work.

I do not want to be controversial but is there an equivalent for Vim?

Current customization options are pretty crude, but this is a nice starting point, both for the tool and for a theme.
