I'm a data scientist with a background in physical sciences, and my greatest strength is handling ambiguity in data. In other words, I’m good at turning messy data into analytic insights and turning cleaned data into modeling features. I pride myself on clear, down-to-earth, transparent communication and documentation.

With a PhD in Physical Chemistry and 2 years working as a cheminformatics scientist, in addition to my data science skills, I bring to the table an understanding of the fundamentals of chemistry. This balance makes me suitable for working on projects ranging from drug discovery to materials science.

I have 3+ years of industry experience transforming complicated data into understandable results using exploratory analysis, feature engineering, machine learning modeling, benchmarking and various other kinds of mathematical modeling.

My ultimate goal in working with my clients is to make their expertise shine even brighter with the help of quantitative analysis and modeling; I love working with lab scientists and other folks who have highly specialized skills but who need a little help getting the compute side going.
